This work is a unique iteration from the ‘Wavelength persistence’ series, generated on 22 July 2023. Its behaviour is seeded by its unique transaction hash, producing a randomly deterministic animation. According to the artist’s description, the software subjects 2.56 million particles to a field of invisible forces, creating an endless quasi simulation. The title is paired with a poetic question concerning a photon's temporal experience, connecting the abstract particle system to concepts from physics. The work is delivered as both this infinite animation and a high resolution static capture.
