Moment of Liberation

The artist’s note for this work describes a desire for profound liberation and release from personal limitations. The digital painting shows a figure with arms raised against a bright, textured background, a posture that communicates the work’s title, ‘Moment of Liberation’. Created in July 2023 as an edition of forty one, the piece is part of the ‘Fantastical Adventures’ collection. This series is presented as a group of imaginative paintings. The work is consistent with YEKTA’s practice of using expressive digital paint to represent subjective emotional states and a wider interest in human interiority.
