Grail

This unique digital collage was created in December 2025. It belongs to the Strawflower series, which the artist describes as self portraits assembled from different stages of her practice. The title, Grail, alludes to a particular state or ambition within an artistic career. By framing this concept as a self portrait, goldcat uses the piece to document a specific aspiration. The work itself, a one of one edition, is constructed from what the artist calls reobserved records of her own past, creating a layered representation of identity in a square format of 2500 by 2500 pixels.
