Bwople The Fifth Season

Created in January 2024, this work presents a large number of Bwople characters arranged within a single composition. The artist’s note for Bwople The Fifth Season states that it combines all the character variations that appeared during a designated period of creation. As a large edition of one hundred and ten, the piece functions as a visual summary of Gengoya’s serial practice. It compiles many different designs applied to the foundational Bwople figure, demonstrating the character’s capacity for adaptation. The title points to a structured, seasonal release of works within the broader Bwopverse collection.
