Étude for untitled (3TXbFZ)

Created as a particle system study for a separate, untitled project, this animation is configured by 2700 simulation steps involving scalar fields. The artist notes that within this system, a very slight difference in the intensity of forces allows expansion to overcome equilibrium. This imbalance generates emergent structures. The resulting forms are described as evoking both biological cells and large scale cosmic structures such as galaxies or filaments. The work, which demonstrates the artist’s code based method, was created in an edition of six in August 2023.
