MINIMUSE 🏀

In this animated work, a minimal figure bounces a basketball. Titled with a basketball emoji, it follows the preceding piece in the GENGOYA on Rodeo collection. Gengoya's accompanying text proposes a twenty four hour duration for the collecting period and again invites the audience to vote on the theme for the subsequent work. This introduces a temporal element to the interactive structure of the series. The work exemplifies the MINIMUSE format, where varied subjects are distilled into a consistent visual language. Gengoya, an illustrator based in Fukuoka, has developed this method through a practice of serial production.
