You Who Listen But Hardly Hear Me
The theme of miscommunication is made explicit in the title You Who Listen But Hardly Hear Me. This work originates as a graphite drawing on paper, digitised at a resolution of 3000 by 2145 pixels. It was created in July 2025 as an edition of twenty for the hic et nunc collection, a larger edition size than some other works from this period. In keeping with Anandhika Primawan's practice, the piece employs portraiture to document a condition of human separateness. The direct mark making of the original drawing is retained in its digital form.
