Bwopstract Shapes & Faces

Created in July 2023, this work is part of the Gengoya Collabs series. The artist’s note identifies the piece as a direct collaboration with the artist Burka Bayram. The title, “Bwopstract Shapes & Faces”, suggests the adaptation of Gengoya’s Bwople character into abstract forms. As with other works in this series, the piece uses the simple, rounded Bwople figure as a foundational element for another artist’s interpretation. This static PNG image is one of an edition of twenty four, illustrating the model of creative exchange that defines this body of work, where two distinct visual styles meet.
