Lost Memories #247

The artist frames this 2023 work with a riddle about a creature whose memories have become apocalyptic. Titled Lost Memories, the piece is a generative script that uses what the artist calls a custom drawing pipeline. This program was developed to produce an effect similar to painting, a method the artist discusses in an accompanying article. This aesthetic is achieved through experimental applications of WebGL, a graphics library used for rendering complex imagery in a web browser. The work is a unique edition created as part of the fx(hash) platform and is dependent on the device’s graphics card for performance.
