This unique digital painting is a continuation of YEKTA’s ‘Natural Humans’ series, a project the artist notes by name with this work. It was created on 5 February 2022, demonstrating a commitment to the regular production of portraits for the hic et nunc platform. YEKTA’s practice is grounded in the principles of drawing and composition, which are applied here in the digital medium to render a human subject. As with other works from this period, the focus is not on precise detail but on the expressive use of texture and colour to convey mood.
