Masked Alina

This work is a direct collaboration between Gengoya and the artist arvshrt. Following the note provided, arvshrt has applied the costume of their own character, Masked Alina, onto the foundational shape of Gengoya’s Bwople figure. The note specifies that Masked Alina is the primary character variant in a series called AlinaVerse. The resulting image combines the distinct visual language of two separate practices using the Bwople character as a common ground for exchange. Created in April 2022, this static digital image was produced as an edition of twenty four.
