Minted on 8 December 2022, this single edition work is presented as a digital gift. The artist’s note questions the notion of giving nature, framing the piece as an expression of gratitude made with code. It is identified as a ‘younger sibling’ to his series The Spectrum of Nature, continuing an inquiry into the perceived line between the natural world and technological creation. The composition is the output of a generative algorithm that uses the WebGL graphics library, a method consistent with Ludgate's practice.
