Horizon Plus Ultra — (ea1cb6c-yAsdH3RP)

This work is the product of an algorithm that scatters ten million particles through a simulated space using energy bursts. The process creates what the artist describes as a superposition of disks and circles in various colours. This resulting volume of particles is then projected onto a two dimensional plane, using a method comparable to cartographic sphere to plane mapping. Titled ‘Horizon Plus Ultra’, this unique static image was captured from the generative system and published in February 2023. It was created using JavaScript and WebGL, and forms part of the ‘Unique Horizons’ series.
