Minted on 27 May 2022, `glory hole$ #422` is an iteration from a generative series realised on the fx(hash) platform. The project was constructed using a layered image template credited to the artist PureSpider. Each work in the series is a unique computer generated output accompanied by an identical text from the artist. This text frames the works conceptually, distilling human consciousness into what is described as a "crudely fashioned hole". The series treats the motif as a symbol of anonymous pleasure, a form that is indestructible because its existence is located in memory rather than physical space.
