Cloud Nine

This work was created, in the artist’s words, as ‘a piece of art for the sake of feeling tranquil’. It is a static digital image from the ‘Pixel Art’ collection, issued in March 2023. The piece uses the visual language of pixel art, a medium that developed from early computer graphics and where aesthetic concerns are often central to its production. Such images are constructed from a limited grid of picture elements, with technical methods often employed to retain the essential features and details of a composition. ‘Cloud Nine’ was produced as an edition of ten.
