Bwadge | Doggos

Titled `Bwadge | Doggos`, this work adapts the artist's foundational Bwople character to represent a different subject. The piece is a three dimensional model belonging to the Bwadges collection, a series where each work isolates a particular element from the Bwople universe. Here, the subject is a canine figure, rendered in the clean graphic style associated with Gengoya's practice and set within the standard badge format. Created in October 2023, the work demonstrates how the simple, rounded form of the base character can be used as a template for other creatures. It was released in an edition of seven.
