Uninhabitable #101

This unique generative work from 2021 is built entirely from ellipses. The composition is an output of the system Iskra Velitchkova created for her `Uninhabitable` series, which uses geometric and trigonometric disruptions to produce forms that evoke living environments. The artist notes that the stroke weight is a significant element, with a discrete range of values revealing the immense quantity of lines that constitute the image. This method makes the underlying logic of the machine’s process visible, a consistent interest in Velitchkova’s practice. The work was recorded as part of the `fx(hash): Genesis` collection.
