CHO BWO

This animated GIF from October 2023 presents a crossover between two distinct character designs. The artist’s note, “Cho has entered the Bwople universe”, and the composite title, “CHO BWO”, signal the introduction of an external character into Gengoya’s visual world. The piece functions as a short, animated narrative of this meeting. This work is a direct expression of the collaborative premise of Gengoya’s practice, where the Bwople figure serves as a host or counterpart for characters from other artists’ projects. The edition of twenty four was released as a looping digital animation.
