This work presents a generative plan for an idealised city. It is a unique edition from December 2021, produced by an algorithm designed to generate 256 different urban layouts. The artist’s note connects the series to the architectural drawings of Italian Renaissance theorists such as Vincenzo Scamozzi and Filarete. Each city plan is conceived as a utopian settlement, a construction too perfect to materialise in the physical world. The system generates variations in the city's size, its street grid, and the surrounding landscape, ensuring each output is a singular composition within the series's established logic.
