In his note for LSD, Rodney Amirebrahimi states that the work is his interpretation of the opepen motif. It was digitally painted by hand using Clip Studio Paint software on a Huion graphics tablet. This method reflects the artist's meticulous approach, which typically involves many hours of work to achieve fine textural effects and render minute details. The image, part of the artist's Nexus series, was created on 9 March 2025. It was issued as a JPEG file in an edition of 770 on the Tezos platform, where the works in this collection first appeared.
