Yekta

This animated self portrait is YEKTA’s contribution to the ‘People of Tezos’ collection, a series initiated by the artist Pierro to document creative figures. Minted in May 2025, the work is presented as a single edition video file. Consistent with the series format, the piece is accompanied by a biography summarising YEKTA’s practice since September 2021. The artist adds a distinct poetic note to the portrait, describing a body where veins are strings and memories are wounds. This statement offers an interior perspective, framing the work as a record of feeling and lived experience.
