Part of the 'Everything' series, this work from March 2023 consists of slow moving shapes. The artist’s notes describe the project as an observation on the fluid passage of time and the underlying unity of all things. The perpetual motion within the piece is intended to demonstrate how seemingly opposite ideas, such as absence and form or the artificial and the real, are connected. Jeres uses his algorithmic system to create a visual representation of this philosophical position. This edition of one of one encapsulates the idea that everything is part of another piece.
