Necromancer ov Núrnen lake

This work documents a physical piece created with graphite on a 20 by 20 centimetre canvas. The artist stated that Necromancer ov Núrnen lake was made during a period of great sorrow and feeling lost in darkness. His text directly addresses the figure in the title, a “nameless necromancer” from whom the artist seeks a transfer of will. The title is characteristic of the bleak mythology present in Shinnoak’s wider output. Part of the Inky abyss series, this image was distributed in an edition of ten on 19 September 2023.
