Moonshadow

This unique animated work introduces the character Moonshadow, a hunter rabbit. According to the artist’s note, the character is bound by a curse to the full moon and seeks the truth behind his condition. The piece is an example of Intersect’s method of integrating text with drawing to build a narrative world for their subjects. As with other works in the INTERSECT1990 collection, this piece uses a character portrait to suggest a larger story, consistent with the artist’s interest in fantasy and genre fiction. The work was issued in January 2025.
