The second work from the Distorted Habitat series continues the artist's stated method of creating AI assisted images of bizarre structures. Numbered sequentially, Distorted Habitat #2 develops the visual language established by the first piece in the collection. The work is part of a sustained investigation into architectural forms that seem physically improbable. As with all known works by Ida Belle, it belongs to this single, cohesive body of digital images. The series title points towards a concern with the concept of home or shelter, presented here through a transformative or unsettling lens.
