BINGO #979

This work is a unique output from rudxane’s BINGO series, created in November 2021. The artist describes the generative system as producing 500 randomly generated cards in an unknown language. In BINGO #979, a grid structure contains a series of abstract symbols and forms, reminiscent of characters or numerals yet entirely illegible. This piece aligns with the artist’s sustained interest in asemic writing, where the act of inscription is separated from legible meaning. The composition places a predetermined orderly format, the bingo card, in tension with the randomised, indecipherable marks generated by the underlying code.
