This work is from the `Dragons` series, produced for the collection `fx(hash): Genesis` in December 2021. William Mapan's note describes it as a dragon formed from a grid of many lines, crafted to appear as if on paper. The composition, `Dragons #153`, is a unique output from a generative algorithm written by the artist. His code simulates physical materials, translating the textures of pigment and paper into a digital medium. Mapan states that each work has its own personality, inviting consideration of individuality within a system that uses rules. This piece is presented as a unique edition.
