This work, titled 'As above', is documented by the artist as originating from a 'Sleepless collection'. The composition was drawn with a rapid pen on heavy 400 gram paper, with the physical original measuring just six by nine centimetres. Shinnoak’s practice was founded on such meticulous hand rendering, creating a dense and unsettling mythology through fine linework.
