Cradle #277

The artist's note for this work proposes a speculative origin for life in our Solar System, attributing it to the decaying remains of ancient alien visitors. This unique generative program from July 2022, titled Cradle #277, gives form to these megalithic constructions. The composition is not static. It renders progressively inside a web browser, its quality improving over time. Monotau provides keyboard controls to alter the resolution, save an image, or change the rendering speed. This process, which can be computationally intensive, produces a complex visual structure from a defined set of algorithmic rules.
