demonic rebirth

The title of this work, 'demonic rebirth', directly states a core theme of Shinnoak's macabre mythology. The artist's note confirms the material basis of the image, a drawing made with a rapid pen on 400 gram paper. Like many of his original works, its scale is intimate, measuring only six by nine centimetres. Shinnoak’s practice centred on these physical drawings, which were then recorded for digital circulation. This particular image was issued in September 2021 as an edition of six on the hic et nunc platform, presenting a subject consistent with his interest in infernal lore.
