Hoppy

An animated GIF issued in August 2025, this work introduces a character named Hoppy. A looping animation enacts the artist’s accompanying text, which describes the figure’s actions as “one bounce, two flips, and a bark of joy”. This sense of playfulness offers a counterpoint to the more sombre subjects often found in the artist's output. The piece is characteristic of Intersect’s method, which combines a defined graphic style with short textual descriptions to build character. This work was created as an edition of ten for the open objkt collection and was issued on the Tezos system.
