Sextet

Titled 'Sextet', this drawing is accompanied by the artist's imperative, 'Destine your destine!'. The work was created with pen on heavy 400 gram paper, maintaining the artist's characteristic small format of six by nine centimetres. Shinnoak's method involved producing these detailed physical drawings as his primary output before their digital documentation and distribution. As with other works from this period, 'Sextet' was issued in an edition of six on the hic et nunc system in September 2021. The title implies a composition of six elements, consistent with the artist's broader project of building a pantheon of chimerical figures.
