Rain

This piece of cinematic poetry combines an original verse by the artist with specifically generated visuals. The short poem, written and performed by Laurence Fuller, imagines rain as spoken thoughts that transform into flowers upon reaching the earth. According to the artist’s note, the animated imagery was created using artificial intelligence trained on the brushstrokes of paintings by Stephanie Fuller. Produced in early 2025 as an edition of 22, the work is a direct material example of the artist’s composite method and his engagement with new technologies to interpret poetic themes.
