A real time animation from 2022, this piece presents figures composed from oscillating pixels. The artist calls these pixels 'seeds', and likens them to the square wave oscillators of audio synthesis. These seeds travel along predefined paths of vertical and horizontal lines, their movement rendering the form visible. This work draws from a total set of seventeen possible figures, which the software combines and mixes across three layers. The artist’s stated aim with this method is to reduce the visual form to a state of pure animation. The work’s dimensions are variable.
