Madder-Anisotropic-Motif

Titled Madder Anisotropic Motif, this work was created in December 2023 for the MoMA Postcard series. The programme, initiated by The Museum of Modern Art, facilitates collective creation through a process that references the mail art movement. A single digital postcard is composed of fifteen stamps, each designed by a different participant using a ten by ten pixel grid. Ida Belle was one of fifteen artists invited to start the project, creating an initial set of postcards that were then circulated among the group. The resulting work is a record of this shared activity. It exists as an edition of fourteen.
