DOM2 #2458

This work belongs to the DOM2 series from 2024, a collaboration between Leander Herzog and musician Milian Mori. The title references the Document Object Model, the structural basis for web pages, which Herzog employs as his primary material. The project continues a partnership that began in 2021 and produced the DOM1 series. Each piece is a real time audio visual animation running in a web browser, where generative audio by Mori animates a visual composition of basic HTML elements by Herzog. The work investigates compositional methods such as ratio, rhythm and repetition through this interaction of two programs.
