Covalency#2

This digital work from 2023 is part of the Covalent bond series, a collection based on chemical principles. For Covalency#2, the artist’s note explains the title’s reference to the strong attraction that holds atoms together through shared electrons. This concept is rendered through what Mohi calls colour line composition, a method for creating abstract visual systems. The work itself is a static digital painting, issued in a square format as an edition of ten. It is characteristic of the artist’s practice, where ideas from science are translated into a formal language of line and colour.
