Granite-Normal-Matte

Granite Normal Matte is a work from December 2023 produced for the MoMA Postcard programme. Ida Belle was among an initial group of fifteen artists selected by The Museum of Modern Art to inaugurate this series based on borderless collaborative creativity. The project operates like a digital chain letter, with each postcard accumulating fifteen stamps from different individuals as it is passed on. The final postcard is a composite image that is collectively owned by its contributors. This specific work, referencing early pixel art through its grid based composition, was issued in a small edition of four.
