Henge #347

Part of a series the artist terms historical fiction, this work reconsiders prehistoric stone assemblies through algorithmic processes. The Henge project models circular megalithic structures, treating them as places for gathering and ceremony organised under celestial alignments. The generative system examines the fundamental acts of stacking and aligning large stones to create order and presence in a landscape. In this way, code is used to investigate geometry as a source of meaning. Henge #347 was produced on 19 November 2022 as a unique iteration from this system.
