The Board

Created in December 2022, this work had a specific method of distribution. It was given to the winners of a chess tournament based on the artist’s earlier piece, Take The Throne. The work itself is a video that brings the series’ central metaphor into focus, with a poem describing the board as a “canvas of thought” where conflict occurs. Fuller produced all elements, including the animated art using artificial intelligence, the music, and the vocal performance. The Board thus functions as both a standalone artwork and a real world trophy, extending the strategic game beyond the screen.
