Pensado a mano #603

This unique work from May 2023 is part of the Pensado a mano series, a project connecting generative processes with manual drawing. The title, which translates as ‘thought by hand’, refers to the artist’s method. Here, the collector’s act of drawing a set number of shapes provides a unique seed for the algorithm. This initial input, made by hand, then interacts with random attributes to generate the final composition. Alejandro notes that the system also produces a plottable SVG file, proposing an extended process from interaction with the screen to a potential physical work on paper.
