Created for the fx(params) platform, this work uses collector input as its central variable. Alejandro's system presents an alternative to conventional parameter sliders. Instead, the user must draw a series of shapes onto the digital canvas. These drawings are processed by the algorithm to form what the artist calls a 'hand crafted seed'. This seed then determines the final composition in concert with other programmed attributes. The code also prepares a corresponding vector file for plotting, proposing a complete process from manual input to a potential physical drawing. This is an earlier piece from the series, produced in May 2023.
