This work, Pensado a mano #396, belongs to a series that requires direct participation from the collector to complete its generation. The artist, Alejandro, has designed an algorithm where the collector must first draw a set of shapes onto the canvas. These marks function as a unique seed, created by hand, which then informs the final composition. This initial input interacts with other randomised attributes within the system to produce the visible artwork. Published in May 2023, the programme also generates a plottable vector file in the background, creating what the artist describes as a new kind of mixed media.
