CIUDAD CENTRAL #75

This work from the CIUDAD CENTRAL series is a unique software application minted in February 2023. The artist's accompanying note evokes the experience of “seeing lights go by”, a theme rendered here as an abstract composition of luminescence and movement. The work is a singular output from a generative system that interprets the idea of “reflections and distortions” through which we perceive our surroundings. As a generative piece, its visual form is determined by code, likely using the p5.js library consistent with Noya’s practice. Controls are provided for the user to save a static, high resolution image, fixing a fleeting digital moment.
