Created in 2022, this work situates itself within an art historical lineage of depicting luminescence. The artist's note references the lighting of Caravaggio and Picasso’s photographic experiments as precedents. In this instance, Noya uses code as his medium to pursue a similar objective. This iteration, `a fortiori #104`, employs a generative system to capture what he describes as the power of light for display on an illuminated screen. Each mark is algorithmically placed, contributing to a final composition that represents a single, frozen moment from an animated process available to the collector.
