CIUDAD CENTRAL #29

Described in the accompanying text as both “abstract and emotive”, this piece presents a singular composition derived from the CIUDAD CENTRAL generative system. As number 29 in the series, it translates the experience of a nocturnal cityscape into a composition of distorted and reflected light trails. The work exists as a software package, an edition of one minted in February 2023. It is interactive, offering controls to save a static file at various resolutions up to a very large scale. The process captures a specific configuration of form and colour, a unique digital artefact from an animated system.
