Minted on 22 December 2022, this work is a distinct iteration from the series Enfantines II. Enfantillages Pittoresques. The artist connects the biomorphic outputs of the generative system to the “human animals” of the CoBrA painters Corneille, Constant, and Appel. Alejandro’s algorithm uses WebGL shaders and advanced colour blending techniques to render its forms. The composition operates in two modes. It can generate its image based on its own visual rules, or it can be activated by audio, where Erik Satie’s piano pieces directly inform the parameters of the strokes, moderating the system's randomness.
