Crosswalk Monsoon #238 was produced in November 2022 as a unique generative output. The artist describes the series not as the product of a defined concept, but as the result of experimentation and curiosity. It was created by modifying the code of a previous algorithm to produce significantly different visual effects. For this work, Studio Yorktown deliberately relinquished precise control over proportion, angle and positioning, leaving these decisions to the generative system. The artist has noted that this approach resulted in a more chaotic composition, reflecting a development in their practice over the preceding year.
