In Pensado a mano #599, the creative process is a collaborative act between the collector and the artist’s code. According to the artist’s notes, the series emphasises “the time we spend doing and making things”. This is enacted through a system where the collector initiates the work by drawing shapes. These forms become the foundational seed that the generative algorithm uses to construct a unique composition from its randomised properties. This work was generated in May 2023 and also produced a separate, plottable file, extending the process from the screen towards a potential physical object.
