Making White Mountain Winter

This textual work from 2022 documents the artist's process for their generative series, `White Mountain Winter`. Part of the `fx(text)` collection, which comprises works distributed as digital text, it was issued in an edition of 149. In an accompanying note, drey describes the original project as a "labor of love". The artist states the aim was to "undo the fading of a memory" and use generative techniques to build an imagined scene from a "seed of magic". This method is consistent with drey's practice of employing procedural systems to interpret personal recollections of mountain landscapes.
